Roger Ames (Music Director, Piano: 2004 - 2007) - Roger has written operas and musicals for Boston Lyric Opera, Utah Opera, Central City Opera, Tulsa Opera, Lake George Opera, Off-Broadway, London Fringe, the Hartford Stage, (Martin Guerre, Laura Harrington, librettist); Long Island Masterworks Chorus and Orchestra, (In Memoriam: Warsaw 1943 with Bernard Kaplan, librettist), the Greensboro Choral Society, and others. He has composed songs for Pantomonium since the beginning, including collaborating with some of the young writers who may have helped write this show! His lyricist, Elizabeth Bassine, started collaborating with him on Puss In Boots and has co-written with him since – and now they are finishing the first draft of a big musical based on the Welsh novel: How Green Was My Valley, with Ron Hutchinson, playwright. Ames' Requiem for Our Time was recently performed to standing ovations by the Boston Pro Musica, and his opera En Mis Palabras, Jeffrey Gilden librettist, is being toured throughout Colorado and the west by Central City Opera. He teaches vocal music and composition at Great Neck North High School, and is published by GIA Music, where one can see a more complete biography. He also has publications at Hinshaw Music, inc, Belwin Mills, and Vista Music. He is on commercial recordings by Thomas Hampson, (Old Songs Re-sung), on the EMI label, and also by Anam Cara, (Innisfree), James Jordan, conductor, and has scored movies and documentaries for French and German Television. Elizabeth Bassine (Lyricist: 2004 - 2007) - Elizabeth's partnership with Roger began with the addition of lyric verses to his East Hampton Suite, and includes songs in his choral repertoire. They've created many songs for Pantomonium and are working on two musicals. An award-winning poet and painter, Elizabeth's work has been shown in museums and galleries, including The Stonybrook University Art Museum, Heckscher Museum, and galleries in Los Angeles and New York. George Blecher (Cast Member 2005 - 2008) A former CUNY professor, George played in productions of Chekhov and Shakespeare in a defunct Times Square porno house before discovering his inner Mae West with Pantomonium. He writes about American politics and culture for many European newspapers and websites, and Danish and Turkish translations of his short story collection, Other People Exist, are due out in 2009. Jane Buckwalter (Producer 2006 - 2008) Jane is a Senior Project Manager of Culture and Arts projects at thirteen/WNET. In her continuing role of cajoling Producers into reducing their documentary production budgets, Jane manages the Panto production budget and ensures that our donor's funds are used wisely. Richard Casamento (Cast Member 2006 - 2008) Rich is beyond pickled to be performing with Pantomonium Productions, and genuinely stunned to find himself in the company of such an insanely talented and supportive group of players. Hank Crosby (Cast Member 2004, 2005, 2007) Hank is a born and bred New Yorker, except for his college years at Maryland Institute, College of Art, where he had the misfortune of meeting the director. Natasha Davis (Stage Manager 2005) Natasha is a Theatre Arts/Film major at Hunter University. Luke Elmore (Cast Member 2007, 2008) - Luke is one of New York's Best Kept Secrets. Born and raised in Harlem, he started performing at the age of 16. Dancing, stepping and singing with a group called the P. L. A. Y. E. R. S. Club at Talent shows, Competitions, Colleges, Parades, TV, and commercials. Then singing and acting at showcases. After graduating with his Bachelors' in Economics and a Minor in Theater from Hunter College he pursued a career to pay bills and live a life that was comfortable for him. But his passion and desire to perform never left his heart and soon he started to realize that he was living a life instead of being Alive in His Life. So he saved some money and quit his job and geared all his resources to one goal; To make it in the field of entertainment through his talents of Acting, Dancing, Singing and Writing and then using his influence to help Change the World. Once free from the chains of work, he auditioned and got to be one of the bachelors on Essence. com's web reality series "30 Dates in 30 Days" and then a couple of photo shoots until he met Chris, through a friend of his (Thanks So Much Janet Avery) that he just met one day in a laundramat. Bruce Gordon (Audio Engineer / Music Consultant) Bruce started out playing blues and R&B in Buffalo, NY and has recorded with Ray Davies of "The Kinks." He was a member of the new wave band "The Screaming Honkers," which appeared in the movie "Ishtar," and has also performed in a country and western swing band called the Jazz Cowboys. Luciana Grassi (Cast Member 2004) Luciana's New York credits include The Boy in Henry V and Antonio in Twelfth Night and The Polar Express at Wildlife Theatre at The Bronx Zoo, where she has done children's theatre as well as written and simultaneous translations. Hayden Jean-Baptiste (Cast member, 2008) Hayden has been performing since the age of six performing for his parents friends at house parties. At thirteen he joined the B.C.A.Y which stands for Bronx Creative Arts for Youths which is where he found his calling. He's been trying to shove his face in front of a camera and on stage ever since. He is now focusing on stand up comedy, film acting and hopefully working on some improv with some of the cast members. His other talents are dancing, stepping, mind reading, and working the fries section at McDonalds. In his spare time he enjoys reading comics and long walks in the projects or a jog if he's about to get robbed. He currently manages a Marriott hotel in midtown Manhattan when he's not auditioning. Cian McCarthy (Music Director, 2007) - Originally from Cork, Ireland, Cian began studying classical piano at the age of 5 and received his BM in 2007 from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Cian has performed with Irish jazz artists such as Stephen O' Keefe, Jimmy Canti, Mick Cody and Karl Rooney. In Ireland he has performed at the National Concert Hall, the Ambassador Theater and the Cork Opera House among others. He regularly performs at the Guinness Jazz Festival, Cork, and has performed live on National TV with the rock band KUDOS. Early in 2007, he won the Jazz Performance Award at Berklee. As a Music Director, Cian has worked on such productions as "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change' at the Zack Box in Boston. In Ireland: "Les Miserables' and "Oliver' at the Cork Opera House. In 2005 he Associate Music Directed the hit pantomime "Babes in the Wood' at the Cork Opera House. Andrew O'Brien (Cast Member 2004 - 2008) Drew feels very fortunate to have worked with this theater company for its first two years. Prior to hopping on board, he graduated from Manhasset High School (in Long Island) in 1995, received a B.A. in Communication from Boston College in 1999, graduated from The Actor's Institute in Manhattan in 2002, performed in various short films and a very entertaining NY Dinner Theater show (called "The Soapranos") for three years, and worked for HBO for 6 years. In February 2006, he picked up and relocated to Sydney, Australia where he lived for just over a year, and after fully embracing this dream, it came time for him to leave the amazing life that he created for himself in that corner of the world; he returned to the fabulous NYC in March 2007 where he is currently reuniting with friends and family, experiencing new adventures, and enjoying each new day that his life has to offer! Daniel del Olmo (Cast Member, 2008) Daniel has traveled the world for a living visiting over 75 countries for the past twelve years, and has volunteered with children in local communities in Costa Rica and the Philippines. Daniel was born and raised in Belgium, where he played a Circus Director in a children's musical at the age of ten. Diane Parker (Cast Member 2007) - Diane is an award winning poet, actress and singer. She has performed on the stages of the Bitter End, the Knitting Factory, Arlene Grocery, the Cotton Club and Nuyorican Poets Cafe. Diane has toured nationally with Metro Theater Company and the MUNY Theater Co. based in St. Louis, Missouri. She recently performed in a Christian musical drama "You're Not The Only One" produced by APOC Productions in New Jersey. Diane was the lead actress and toured earlier this year with New York's Wideman/Davis Dance Company's production of "The Bends of Life." She also performs an original one-woman show based on the life of civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer and is a vocalist with the inspirational hip hop group, TWO-G. and the Leaders of the Resistance. Diane has a bachelor's degree in mass communications, a master's degree in human resource management and works for an international media company. Letha Rose (Cast Member 2004) Letha is an actor, singer/songwriter from Washington, D.C. While studying in Baltimore, she became heavily involved in theater. Soon after graduating, she booked her first professional gig at the Shakespeare Theater in Washington D.C. as both actor and vocalist. Since then, she has worked on (and in) independent (and dependent) film, TV and stage in the US and abroad. As a singer/songwriter, she has been featured on PBS and has just released her debut album. Richard Saltzman (Cast Member 2005 - 2008) - After 32 years as a pilot for a major airline, he's found a new niche. After working in a few Indie Films and background in "War of the Worlds" and "The Producers", he finally got to sing and dance in 1776 in the role of Judge James Wilson at the Fraunces Tavern Dinner Theater. Alan Sanders (Cast Member 2004 - 2008) - Alan Sanders, in addition to appearing in Pantomonium's productions, has also appeared in The Honeymoaners (as Ed Norton in a spoof of the original Honeymooners) with New York Dinner Theater; Aladdin and the Magic Lamp (The Grove Street Playhouse); and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Witches' Brew Theatre Group). He has performed for an undisclosed number of years as a drummer with White Collar Crime, a rock and roll band of vague renown, at various New York venues such as The Bitter End, The Lone Star Roadhouse, The Knitting Factory, Kenny's Castaways and Arlene Grocery.
